Introducing Sculpey Soufflé™ Ivory Pt 2

Well, of course, I had to try three of the Sculpey Premo™ colors that I think have the most depth to their colors – the new Burnt Orange and Forest Green. Alizarin Crimson, an old stalwart in the Sculpey Premo™ line of colors was actually my first choice for this weeks color experiment.

The top row of the large photo contains the 3 colors that I’m mixing with the Ivory (I) on the far right. The bottom 3 colors are the colors mixes created by mixing 4 parts of the color directly above with 1 part (4:1) of the Ivory. Of course, any of these colors or mixes can be used in combination with any other colors you wish, but I’ve picked 3 palettes of colors using ONLY the original colors and their mixes above.

#1 I do love me some greens and golds together and this palette just hits me like a sunlit forest trio.

#2 I really like how the addition of the Ivory (I) to the Alizarin Crimson (AC) really pops the crimson color. Both the Ivory and the Burnt Orange/Ivory (BO/I) combination really pop together with AC/I mix.

#3 Again this week, I really like the combination of these three mixes. Isn’t it amazing how mixing them with just one color like the Ivory creates a more harmonious palette?
