The top row of the large photo contains the 3 colors that I’m mixing with the featured color on the far right. The bottom 3 colors are the colors mixes created by mixing the color directly above with equal portions (1:1) of the featured color.
I mixed with a couple of the Sculpey Premo™ Yellow tones this week as well as a neutral Gray Granite. Cadmium Yellow was the big surprise for me this week with its gorgeous 1:1 mix.
The 1:1 mix of Apricot/Berry Pearl yielded a love deeper peach tone with a “kiss” of sparkle that I feel in love with. I’m definitely going to revisit this mix in some of my play time creations!
The 1:1 mix of Gray Granite/Berry Pearl was kind of a surprise because the Berry tone really took over the grey tones. In person, this is a lovely deep rose Granite color with lots of sparkle hints in it. A 3:1 mix would probably yield a great Rose Granite tone.
As I mentioned before, the Cad Yellow/Berry Pearl mix was one of my favorites this week. Such a deep Summer tone that looks great with the Premo™ Apricot clay and its 1:1 mix, don’t you think? Even the Apricot, Gray Granite and Cad Yellow/Berry Pearl mix looks really good as well!
